The home at 240 Greencrest Court is newly carpeted, and rests in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of friendly neighbors. It is also move-in ready! The location of the home provides easy access to Marietta Square and many other amenities.

We wondered what it is like to live in such a wonderful home. Who better to tell us than the sellers; here is what they had to say:

YARD:

We love our yard! The bridge in the back is absolutely beautiful when we get to occasional snow. Recently, we planted new encore roses in the front yard and they bloom beautifully in the spring and summer.

EXTERIOR:

We just repainted the front porch, the front door, and the shutters to give make the front of our home clean and welcoming. We love having a deck on the back of our home for gatherings in the summer and cookouts!

INTERIOR:

We have four spacious bedrooms on the second level. One of the rooms would be perfect as a baby room, playroom, or office space. We also completely re-carpeted the entire home right before we moved, which means the carpet is completely new and hasn’t been lived on at all!

BASEMENT:

The basement is partial and unfinished, but this allows you to finish it how you want to. It would definitely be a great space for a “man cave” or media room. It also stays nice and cool in the summer months. The laundry is located down there as well.

SUBDIVISION:

We have really fun cul-de-sac parties when the weather is nice! There are no HOA fees in the subdivision, and we have very friendly neighbors. If you want, you can connect with the neighbors on NextDoor.

THE AREA:

We are very close to multiple shopping locations and grocery stores, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Kohl’s. We are also close to Kroger and Costco as well. This area also provided a multitude of church and synagogue options, as well as several YMCAs. Some of our favorite restaurants to eat at when we lived in the home were Chili’s, Ruby Tuesdays, Cracker Barrel, Chipotle, Seed, Marlow’s Tavern, Chick-Fil-A, and The Wing.

In terms of doing activities as a family, we always enjoyed bowling at the local AMF, going to to discount movie theatre, multiple parks (great for walking, running, hiking, etc.), and we always loved attending the activities in Marietta Square! In downtown Atlanta they are currently building a new Brave’s Stadium, and we are sure that is bound to be a big attraction when it is finished!
