We wondered what it is like to live in such a wonderful home. Who better to tell us than the sellers; here is what they had to say:


The home is located on a half-acre, professionally landscaped cul-de-sac lot. A natural tree buffer in the back maintains privacy while providing convenient access to fun amenities like tennis courts, a playground, pool and pavilions. The yard has an invisible fence already installed to protect your pets, as well as zoned underground sprinklers. Professional flowerbeds, lovely double blooming azaleas, large mature crepe myrtles and mature trees enhance the yard’s appeal. The cul-de-sac is great for parties, riding bikes, basketball, and kick ball games.


This house has a beautiful rocking chair front porch with four white columns. This is the only house in the neighborhood with this exterior elevation and it sets it apart from every other house. Double glass entry doors further enhance the home’s curb appeal. The three-car side entry garage further enhances the curb appeal while  providing privacy; there is also plenty of room for additional parking on the driveway. An extended deck on the back was stained this year.

The roof was fully replaced in 2009. All four baths feature upgraded American Standard, low flow, push button dual flush toilets.


The first floor features recently polished hardwoods on the main level. Iron balusters on the stairwell and catwalk provide architectural enhancements to the open foyer and great room. The homeowners association throws many fun events each year for both kids and families. We have many ALTA and USTA tennis teams. We have 5 tennis courts in the neighborhood, 2 pools, 1 clubhouse and 2 pavilions, which are great for birthday parties. We even have lifeguards on the weekends at the pools.

One other thing worth mentioning about our neighborhood is the friendliness of the neighbors. People will catch your mail or pet sit for you while you are away. We have a great neighborhood list serve that keeps people in touch and helps the community. This is a great place to live!


We love eating at Aspen's, Capers, Trackside Grill and La Parilla. Uncorked is a fun place for wine and beer tastings. All of these are 10 minutes or less from the house.

West Cobb is a great area because the traffic is so much better than East Cobb. There are still lots of open spaces such as Kennesaw Mountain National Park, a community garden and the Oregon Park and Big Shanty ballparks. The Avenues of West Cobb and Kroger offer great shopping only 5-10 minutes from the house.

We enjoy the camaraderie of the football, baseball and scouting events, which create communities within this community. Running and biking are easy to get to as we have great trails close by.


The schools are wonderful with very low discipline issues and high scores. We have Bullard Elementary School, McClure Middle School, and Harrison High School in our district. There is a bus accessibility for each school.
